Holiday wishes, warm water, and a whole year of journeys worth planning.

December always makes me a little reflective, and this year I keep coming back to how lucky we are to travel with so many of you. Chris and I are counting down to French Polynesia next October, with our hosted Egypt journey waiting in 2028, and a winter escape to Puerto Vallarta never far from our minds. Wherever the holidays find you, I hope they include people you love.

Some places welcome you. Puerto Vallarta pulls up a chair. Its Zona Romántica packs dozens of gay bars, beach clubs, and gay owned hotels into a few walkable blocks, the south end of Playa de los Muertos is one of the world’s great gay beaches, and Vallarta Pride takes over the town every May. Chris and I love Puerto Vallarta so much that we bought a home there. It’s one of those places we never get tired of returning to, and one I always enjoy introducing to other travelers.

Next October, Chris and I sail Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora with a group of our travelers, and I think about it more than I probably should.
