Out and Away, evolved. The luxury magazine design stays, and the publication’s original purpose comes back to the center: a sophisticated LGBTQ+ travel magazine for Premium Travel Experts’ clients, curated by Carlos. One recognizable monthly publication, two reusable layouts, and a December 2026 issue ready for review.
Design prototypes only. Nothing here has been sent, published, or connected to any live system. No fares, availability, testimonials, or supplier benefits were invented, and no trips Carlos has not taken are described as taken. French Polynesia (October 2027) and Egypt (March 2028) are written as anticipation, because that is what they are.
A French Polynesia cover, a 69 word note from Carlos, and the full recurring skeleton in action: the LGBTQ+ Travel Spotlight visits Puerto Vallarta and the Zona Romántica, a place Carlos and Chris love enough to call home part of the year, with a verified guide linked for readers who want more. Now production polished (still a prototype, nothing sent). The permanent LGBTQ+ Trips Worth Discovering section now sits before the Trip Hub, so readers meet two trips first: Tryst’s maiden voyage (status re-verified on Tryst’s own site: reservations expected to open in late November, Founder Rates, no pricing yet) and OUT Adventures’ India Holi journey (re-verified from $9,195, only a few spots left). The Trip Hub follows, then Carlos’s Pick, the French Polynesia countdown, written honestly: the hosted sailing is fully booked, and the invitation is to plan your own version. Every link in the issue is now production ready: absolute URLs with tracking, the Trip Hub and operator pages, and direct email links to Carlos where no landing page exists. The December poll is now a real poll on our own Out & Away poll page: each answer records the vote and immediately shows the reader a live bar graph of how everyone voted. The contact buttons now open the Plan Your Trip form, which is live too: submissions are stored in a private inbox Carlos can read, with each trip pre-selected from the button the reader tapped. The Difference closes the issue with the no fees message carried once, in its headline.
Revised, not rebuilt. The Positano cover, the note, Carlos’s Picks, Beyond the Cruise, and Worth Exploring all stay. New in this revision: the LGBTQ+ Travel Spotlight (Puerto Vallarta, with a verified read more guide), the compact LGBT Trip Hub block that now appears in every issue, the permanent Trips Worth Discovering section, and corrected framing in the picks. French Polynesia and Egypt are written as the adventures ahead that they are, never as trips already taken. A labeled master template of this layout is in the ZIP.
Egypt still leads, with verified facts only and the real group registration button. New in this revision: the intro is now a proper Note from Carlos, a Spotlight on the joy of LGBTQ+ group travel joins the issue, and the LGBT Trip Hub block takes its standing place before the closing photograph and Personal Invitation. French Polynesia remains inspiration only. A labeled master template of this layout is in the ZIP.
Carlos sends a few travel ideas, upcoming trips, and any important news. The issue is then drafted from the master template of the right layout, facts and links are verified, and Carlos approves the exact send before anything is pasted into Maxx Creator. The full checklist and guardrails live in the editorial calendar document in the ZIP.
Table based layouts, inline styles, a 640 pixel column that collapses cleanly on phones, the same construction that pastes into Maxx Creator’s source view. All photography in the emails is now at publicly hosted absolute URLs, and every link is absolute or a direct email link; for the real send, the prototype hosted photos get re-hosted in Maxx Media. The full test record and the Cruise Planners verification checklist are in PRODUCTION-NOTES.md, included in the ZIP.
Before any real send, inside CP Maxx: paste into a fresh campaign and confirm Maxx Creator keeps the tables and inline styles intact in its View Email preview; confirm the auto inserted account signature at the top and the automatic unsubscribe footer both appear; re-host the photos in Maxx Media and swap the URLs; attach the audience and confirm the count (the master segment flattened and dropped 32 people in September, and one deceased flagged record reduced November to 105, so the count needs eyes); recheck Tryst’s booking status that week; and run one real inbox check in Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook, which has not been done yet. Nothing here has been sent.
Outstanding, not yet done: real inbox rendering tests in Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook. Browser previews cannot certify those clients, so they are flagged here rather than claimed.
